PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a sink mark and improve the transferring readiness onto the surface of a cavity by pressing a compression rod from outside of a metal mold by a predetermined means provided in a press unit thereby to compress and mold a molding resin by cooling. CONSTITUTION:A pressing mechanism such as a hydraulic cylinder or the like is provided in a temperature adjusting plate etc. in contact with an end surface 17 of a second mounting plate 5 so as to press a compression rod 10. After both end faces of a metal mold 12 are seized by a temperature adjusting plate at the pressing surface of a press unit, the compression rod 10 is pressed a predetermined distance by this pressing mechanism, with a movable block 9 in abutment with the compression rod 10 being hence raised by the same distance. At this time, a peripheral contour of the surface defining a cavity of the movable block 9 agrees with an inner contour of an upper surface of a fixed block 8. In this state, that is, where the pressure inside the resin within the cavity is increased a predetermined degree, the resin is cooled and hardened. Therefore, a sink mark can be prevented from being generated, and the transferring readiness onto the surface of the cavity can be improved. |
