PURPOSE:To enable rational air-conditioning of a plurality of rooms by a method wherein a refrigeration cycle is provided with a piping connection part connectable to an indoor unit in order to air-condition other room, and further provided with fans on the indoor side and the outdoor side and fan motors to independently run the fans. CONSTITUTION:A packaged air-conditioner C is mounted in a room C, an indoor unit A in a room A, and an indoor unit B in a room B. When the room C is cooled, a main on-off valve 18 is opened, auxiliary on-off valves 19 and 20 are closed, and a compressor 14 is run. Thus, a refrigerant is circulated, in order, through a compressor 14, a heat exchanger 12 on the outdoor side, a main on-off valve 18, a main pressure reducer 22, a main heat exchanger 3 on the indoor side, an accumulator 32, and a compressor 14. And, a centrifugal fan 10 on the indoor side, a fan motor 15 on the indoor side, a propeller fan 11 on the outdoor side, and a fan motor 30 on the indoor side are driven, and cooling operation for the room C is practicable. In case the rooms A and B are cooled simultaneously, the main on-off valve 18 is closed, the auxiliary on-off valves 19 and 20 are opened, and the compressor 14 is run. |
