A cooling unit for a two-chamber refrigerator comprises, connected in series along the path of the cooling agent, a compressor (1), a condenser (2), a closing valve (3), a capillary tube (4), an evaporator (5) for the freezing chamber and an evaporator (6) for the refrigerating chamber, connected to the compressor (1). The cooling unit is provided with an additional element connecting the intermediate part (9) of the condenser (2) to the capillary tube (4).
