<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a liquid crystal shutter head wherein the area of a substrate is small, a memory control circuit is simple, a data processing speed is high and the generation of electric noise is reduced by constitution such that the pixel arrangement of the liquid crystal shutter head is composed of two rows in a printing line direction and formed from pixel arrangement possible in specific time sharing driving and a scanning electrode. CONSTITUTION:A pixel group is composed of two rows, that is, the first pixel row constituted of pixels G1-1, 3, 5, 7 and the second pixel row constituted of pixels G1-2, 4, 6, 8. Pixels G2-8 - G2-1 formed by setting the surface parallel to a Y-axis and vertical to space to a mirror surface to perform mirror reversal constitute a pixel group of one other kind. These two kinds of the pixel groups are repeatedly and alternately arranged in an X-direction at a pitch of NXPX (N is 5 or more and, for example, 8XPX) to form the whole pixel group of the liquid crystal shutter cell. The pixels present in the same order with respect to the X-direction from the contact position of adjacent pixel groups are mutually present at the same position in a Y-direction and connected to a common scanning electrode.</p> |
