PURPOSE:To permit the omission of a locking mechanism to reduce the number of parts by engaging both ends of a toggle spring with a bracket for fixing a fuel filler door body and a hinge shaft of the fuel filler door body. CONSTITUTION:A fuel inlet box 5 has a bracket 7 threadedly fixed at the one end 7a thereof and arranged at the other end 7b thereof in penetration of a crank-shaped hinge shaft 8 rotatable at its both ends 8a, 8b. A toggle spring 22 is engaged in between the edge of the opening 19 of the bracket 7 and the intermediate portion 8c of the hinge shaft 8. This toggle spring 22 comprises a sheet of plate spring bent and formed, so that it is composed of a base portion 22a bent in an approximate U-shape and engaged portions 22b, 22c formed in a curved shape at both ends of this base portion 22a. |
