PURPOSE:To form an image having a good quality by interpolating font data and rules lines between fonts by interpolating position information conforming to a font pitch designation and a line density designation. CONSTITUTION:In the case of transferring font data to a bit map display 9 through a bit map display control circuit 3, interpolating position information in the X direction and the Y direction which has been stored in memories 4, 6 is given to a bit copy control circuit 8. Subsequently, by a control of this bit copy control circuit 8, data extending from a part where a bit of the interpolating position has been set to a part where the next bit has been set is displayed. That is, data in which the bit of the interpolating position information has been set is copied. As for this interpolating position information, an appropriate binary sequence is selected by a pitch designation and a line density designation. In such a way, an image having a good quality can be displayed on the bit map display. |
