PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of resin residue within a T-die by providing an escape passage for a resin at a suitable position of the wall of said T-die which passage has one end communicated to a gap formed at the side of a non-operating surface opposite to an operating surface of an inner deckel and the other end connected to the outside of said T-die. CONSTITUTION:During molding of a film, a main stream 27 of resin is formed running along an operating surface 28, with another stream of resin turning in a gap at the side of a non-operating surface 29 through gaps d1, d2 in the periphery of an inner deckel 4. A looped groove 20 and an escape passage 21 are formed at a side wall 1a of a T-die 1 forming a lateral end of a manifold 3, and therefore, the resin turning into the side of the non-operating surface 29 is discharged outside the T-die 1 from the escape passage 21 through the groove 20. Thus, no resin is permitted to turn into the main stream 27 from the other portions at the side of the operating surface 28 of the inner deckel 4. Moreover, the resin is always guided to the escape passage 21 also at the side of the non-operating surface 29, without any residue of resin generated there. |
