PURPOSE:To prevent a film from its creasing at the time of going through a bending process, by bending the thermal welding portions of a sack-like outer packaging body which holds a group of pole plates in such a direction that the welding portion may be overlapped on the film while pressurizing the thermal welding portions on heating plates. CONSTITUTION:A group of pole plated, provided with a cover 4 is held in a sack-like outer packaging body 3 having both side portions of a thermoplastic resin film 1 welded thermally at thermal welding portions 2, with the entrance of the sack-like outer packaging body 3 opened. This packaging body is put on an inverse triangular stan 7, and then the thermal welding portions 2 projecting to both sides are heated while being prossed by V-shaped forming planes 8A of heating plates 8 against themselves in such a direction that the thermal welding portions 2 may be overlapped the film 1. Subsequently, a blast nozzle 10 is allowed to blow cold air upon the bent thermal welding portions 2 for cooling the bent portions. Since the thermal welding portions 2 are formed of thermoplastic resin, they can keep themselves in the bent shape when cooled so that this procedure makes any taping process unnecessary. This makes it possible to equally bend the thermal welding portions without any creasing process. |
