PURPOSE:To control the humidity of suction air in the combustion chamber of the engine accurately at a target value by correcting the humidity of the suction just before supplied to the combustion chamber at the side smaller than the target value when the engine is under low load. CONSTITUTION:When the engine is brought to a low-load operation state, low- load output signals are generated from a load detecting circuit 19 while being subject to output from a revolution-number sensor 6 and a throttle sensor 17, the output Vb of an arithmetical circuit 20 is made smaller than the set voltage Va of the target humidity value, and difference output Vc from a comparison circuit 13 is increased and correction signals from a correction-factor generating circuit 16 are increased. The outut of an arithmetical circuit 12 is decreased, moisture discharged into a suction path 2 from a humidifier 8 is reduced, and humidity in the suction path 2 is corrected at the side smaller than the target value. |
