PURPOSE:To vary a blast direction and to enable a dehumidifier to cope with multipurpose application by a method wherein an air suction port is formed in the front of a cabinet, and a wind direction plate is rotatably mounted to a forward down slope formed on the upper surface of a cabinet and in a position closer to the front than the upper position in a vertical direction of the center of gravity of the dehumidifier. CONSTITUTION:A dehumidifier dries clothes in a way that indoor air is sucked through an air suction port 4 of the front of a cabinet and air is discharged upward by means of a wind direction plate 6 situated in an air delivery port 5 in the upper surface of the cabinet. The air delivery port 5 is formed in the top surface of an upper cover 3 and a forward down slope positioned closer to the front than a position above a vertical line H of a center G of gravity of the dehumidifier. Oblique forward discharge is smoothed by means of a difference D in a level between the upper end of a rear duct 22 and the upper end of an operation control part 16. The outer shape of a guide vane 6a of the wind direction plate 6 is formed in conformity to the R-shape of a forward down slope, and the center of R coincides with a position on the center G of gravity of the dehumidifier. When the air delivery port 5 is closed by the guide vane 6a, blast is stopped by means of a microswitch, and when opened, the dehumidifier is operated to perform blast. |
