PURPOSE:To improve the service of an automatic transaction device, by suitably changing the countermeasures against failures, taking the working time zone of maintenance personnel into consideration. CONSTITUTION:Assuming that the normal working time of the maintenance personnel of the automatic transaction device is AM 9:00-PM 4:00, then the contacts of a timer 63 are adjusted to obtain a one shot signal for station open at AM 9:00, one shot signal for a closing station at PM 11:00, and a timer signal of logical ''1'' level during AM 9:00-PM 14:00. If any failure takes place in the time zone of AM 9:00-PM 4:00, a failure signal is given to a monitor 69 and the maintenance personnel shoot properly against the failure. If a failure takes place during PM 4:00-AM 11:00, while no maintenance personnel is on duty, the handling of cards is stopped and a notice such as ''the machine is not in operation. Please come again on working time with the receipt of your card.'' is displayed. |
