PURPOSE:To obtain a surface cleaner effective in removing stains or rust from the surfaces of, e.g., stainless steel, plastics or glass, and tile joints by mixing an alcohol with ammonia, acetic acid, benzalkonium chloride 1 and the balance of a solvent. CONSTITUTION:This surface cleaner comprises 2.0-20wt.% alcohol, 0.01-3.0wt.% ammonia, 10-50wt.% acetic acid, 1.0-10wt.% benzalkonium chloride 1 and the balance of a solvent. It is also possible to add 0.1-3.0wt.% hydrogen peroxide water to said cleaner. The hydrogen peroxide added brings about an excellent cleaning effect due to a bleaching action and a bactericidal action. As the alcohol used, ethanol, methanol or the like is desirable. As the acetic acid, glacial acetic acid is desirable. As the benzalkonium chloride 1, Osban prepared by dissolving it is desirable. As the solvent, glycerol, water or the like is used, and a perfume is optionally added to it. |
