PURPOSE:To prevent the unsteady running of a vehicle caused by a steering mechanism of a speed sensor type by correcting the control of a rear wheel steering means on the basis of the alignment change information when the alignment change of a wheel is detected. CONSTITUTION:The signals from a speed detecting means 26, a front wheel steering angle detecting means 28, a rotary encoder 72 for detecting the rotating position of a servo motor 32 are inputted into a control part 24b for controlling the rear wheel steering. The target rear wheel steering angle is calculated at the control part 24, and control signals corresponding to the rear wheel steering angle are inputted. A control means 24 is provided with a correction part 24a together with the control part 24 for controlling the rear wheel steering according to the basic control characteristics. The correction part 24 corrects the control of a rear wheel steering means on the basis of the alignment change information of front or rear wheels outputted from an alignment change detecting means. |
