<p>A cooling system for an internal combustion engine equipped with an auxiliary fan, which is adapted to be selectively engaged and is arranged inside of a space adapted to be closed by means of a lid (engine hood); the fan is controlled in dependence on the position of this lid. Especially with an open engine hood, a sudden and unexpectedly occurring re-starting of the fan is avoided having been turned-off so that injuries to limbs of a servicing person who works in direct proximity of the fan is practically precluded.</p> |
