PURPOSE:To allow a layman to correctly obey the sequence of original density when he adjusts the density by sequentially displaying original densities necessary for measuring density and indicating them. CONSTITUTION:An operator lights a density display '5' in a copying density display part 711 and an original corresponding to a D5 is measured in terms of prescan AE. The AE-measured value is stored as the potential of the D5 in a memory. Then, a density '9' is lit in the display part 711 to perform the prescan AE measurement similarly. The AE-measured value is stored as the potential of D9 in a memory. Here, the D5 and D9 are compared in magnification, and when D5<D9, density indications '5' and '9' are lit in the display part 711 in two sec. On the other hand, when D5>D9, the density indications '1' to '9' are lit in the display part 711 in two sec to display abnormality. |
