PURPOSE:To send information in response to destination by selecting the information to be sent from plural bits of information stored based on the destination information. CONSTITUTION:When a transmission request of a map of an area map in a terminal equipment 1 is sent from the terminal equipment 1 to a FAX picture transmission equipment 4, the FAX picture transmission equipment 4 obtains the position of the terminal equipment 1 based on the telephone number of the terminal equipment 1 and sends the map including the position to the terminal equipment 1. Moreover, the FAX picture transmission equipment 4 selects a map to be sent based on the information representing a terminal station 2 connecting to the terminal equipment 1 giving the transmission request. Thus, the user selects the picture information such as a map to be sent without sending the position of the terminal equipment 1 of the FAX picture transmission equipment 4 from the terminal equipment 1 to attain the transmission. |
