<p>PURPOSE:To widen the selection range of the operation process of a pointing device so as to constitute an interactive type system which is easy to be used by providing a cursor shift direction detection control circuit. CONSTITUTION:A mouse shift detection control circuit 4, three identification keys as identification means for operation type, which identify operation types, and an identification key depression detection circuit 5 are provided in the internal control circuit 7 of a device main body part 9. The identification means for operation types includes the cursor shift direction detection control circuit 6 identifying the operation types by the direction to which the cursor is shifted by the mouse 1 immediately after a button for screen correction operation 2 is depressed. Since the operation types can be identified by the direction to which the cursor is shifted immediately after the button for screen correction operation 2 is depressed, the selection range of the operation process of the pointing device is widen and the interactive type system which is easy to be used can be constituted.</p> |
