PURPOSE:To eliminate the necessity of detecting an initial pole at each shaft switching and to improve productivity by providing pole position holding circuits of the number responsive to the shaft. CONSTITUTION:When an encoder 1 detects, an encoder selection switch 5a is closed. A programmable input/output interface 8 early outputs a counted result corresponding to a rotary amount output from a counter 7 and motor pole detection signals U-, V-, W-phases to a data bus in response to the instruction of a central calculating processor. The processor reads encoder detection information in response to a program and forms a feedback loop. Then, when it detects by an encoder 2, an encoder detection switch 5b is closed. The operation of the encoder 2 is controlled similarly to the case of the encoder 1 by a differential receiver 4, a phase discriminator 9, a counter 10, a programmable input/output interface 11. |
