PURPOSE:To achieve improvement of gloss, color tone, and sealing property by a method wherein a door weather strip 3 is molded by extruding intermittently variably rubber, and after vulcanization, plastic is extruded in an integrated body with an openwork hole formed band part of the vulcanized moldings. CONSTITUTION:The title manufacture method is composed of a process producing rubber moldings wherein a door weather strip 3 is molded by a extruding intermittently variably rubber so as to form an openwork hole 3c by which a plastic molding 5 is fixed to an openwork hole formed band part 3d of a rubber made door weather strip 3, a process in which the rubber moldings are vulcanized, and a process in which the plastic composing the molding 5 is extruded in an integrated body with the openwork hole formed band part 3d of the vulcanized rubber moldings. Since the plastic is extruded by holding the openwork hole formed band part 3d of the rubber moldings to which the openwork hole 3c has been preliminarily opened in the plastic, the plastic enters the openwork hole 3c and binding force of the door weather strip 3 to the molding 5 is increased to raise integration of both. |
