PURPOSE:To enable an interconnecting electrode fitting method of a laminated type piezoelectric body to be stabler and adapted for a wider range of morphology of a laminated body as compared with a conventional method by a method wherein insulating layers, formed of a photosensitive composition, are provided so as to electrically connect inner electrodes with each other every other layer. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive composition 3 is applied onto the side face of a laminated type piezoelectric element through a roll coater, a curtain coater, or a screen printing method. The thickness of an applied composition 3 is determined basing on the width of the required insulating layer, but it is the most adequate that the thickness is 5-50mum. Thereafter, the solvent is removed, and parts 4 of connecting electrodes, which do not need to be connected, are masked through exposure to light and development. A super-high pressure mercury vapor lamp is usually employed for an exposure treatment. 1,1,1-trichloroethane or a weak alkaline water is used as a developing solution. Moreover, an interconnecting electrode 5 is formed. The interconnecting electrode 5 is formed through a such a way that Pt, Ag-Pd, Pt-Pd, Pd, Ag, or a conductive bonding agent is applied by a spray method, a screen printing method, or the like, or sputtered or evaporated. |
