PURPOSE:To eliminate leaving of a distortion behind on a molded product by making maintenance of a yarn form easy and enabling easy control of tension by a method wherein a thread line obtained by mixed spinning of a reinforcing fiber is impregnated with thermoplastic resin and continuous drawing is performed. CONSTITUTION:Cotton yarn is constituted of a single fiber having a fiber length of at least average 2.5 inches and its coefficient of twisting is at least 50. In the case where mixed spinning of reinforcing fiber and thermoplastic fiber is performed, both of them are mixed and well dispersed with each other. Since twisting is applied to the cotton yarn, uniformity of mixing does not worsen while handling. Then since the same is mixed up uniformly and twisting is applied to the same, a problem where yarn is dangled or dropped does not occur even if a fibrous matrix is melted at an inlet of a die. |
