PURPOSE:To obtain a color image whose tone is not changed even if fixation conditions are changed by changing color correction conditions at the stage of or after the conversion of complementary color according to the change of the fixation conditions. CONSTITUTION:When the fixation condition is selected with a fixation conditions selection switch 5, a selection signal is transmitted to a heater power source 6 and a power supplied to a fixation unit heater 7 becomes the set value of said fixation condition. At the same time, according to the selection signal, the image processing is performed from Y, M and C signals converted in terms of complementary color in a color processor 2 to output and signals converted into Y, M, C and BK are added to a chromatic color signal masking circuit 8, then the coefficient of the conversion of complementary color is allowed to be changed by interlocking with the selection of the fixation conditions. Since the coefficient of the conversion is previously set corresponding to the respective fixation conditions so that the same tone may be obtained even if the fixation conditions are changed, the tone of the formed image is not changed in spite of the change of the fixation conditions. |
