<p>PURPOSE:To permit an efficient packaging of an article by longitudinally and laterally passing tying strings through holes formed in a contacting plate, one after another, pulling the ends of each string outwardly of the bottom of the article, pulling them up lengthwise along the middle of the opposite sides thereof, bringing them up on the top thereof and binding them together thereon. CONSTITUTION:A longitudinal tying string 3 is passed through a plurality of longitudinal string passing holes 2, one after another, and a lateral tying string 4 is passed through a plurality of lateral string passing holes 2, one after another. A contacting plate 1 is placed under the center of the bottom of an article 6 such as a plurality of stacked floor cushions prepackaged with a wrapping paper 5 and both ends of each of the longitudinal tying string 3 and the lateral tying string 4 are pulled outwardly of the bottom thereof, pulled up lengthwise along the middle of the opposite sides thereof and brought up on the top thereof, where each string is tied with its own ends bound together. The excessive part of the string is cut off and the article thus packaged is handed over to a customer.</p> |
