<p>PURPOSE:To execute the cursor control with a moving quantity in proportion to the moving speed regardless of the moving distance of a POD by detecting the moving speed and the direction of a pointing device (POD) and outputting cursor control data. CONSTITUTION:Displacement data PD from POD are inputted to a moving direction detecting means 11 and a moving speed detecting means 12. The moving direction of the POD detected by the means 11 is inputted to a coordinate value arithmetic means 14. On the other hand, the moving speed of the POD detected by the means 12 is inputted to a moving quantity determining means, the moving quantity of the POD is calculated and the data are outputted to the means 14. The means 14 calculates the cursor coordinate value from the moving quantity of the inputted POD and the data of the moving direction, outputs cursor control data KD based on the data and the cursor is controlled to the moving quantity in proportion to the moving speed.</p> |
