PURPOSE:To improve static electricity receptivity and electrostatic charge holdability by applying and forming a photosensitive layer essentially consisting of a specific imidazole compd. and copper phthalocyanine pigment and binder resin on a metallic drum. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive body of the single layer type is formed by coating the metallic drum with the photosensitive layer obtd. by using the copper phthalocyanine pigment as a charge crier generating material and the imidazole compd. expressed by formula I as a carrier transfer agent and dispersing both into a resin as a binder. In formula, R2, R3 and R5 are a hydrogen atom or phenyl group; at least one of R2, R4 and R5 are a phenyl group. The imidazole compd. is more particularly preferably 2,4,5-triphenyl imidazole (TPZ). The electrostatic charge receptivity, the electrostatic charge holdability and the surface durability are improved in this way. |
