PURPOSE:To provide a grid for a lead storage battery which exhibits an excellent voltage characteristic during large-current electric discharge, and which can be manufactured easily. CONSTITUTION:The first medium bone group 2A and the second medium bone group 2b are arranged within a frame bone 2C. Since the total weight of the first medium bone group 2A is made over 1.5 times that of the second medium bone group 2B by making the number of the bones of the first group 2A larger than that of the second group 2B, the resistance of the grid can be decreased, and voltage reduction of a lead storage battery can be suppressed. In addition, the second group 2B is made to cross the first group 2A at an angle of 70- 110 deg. to each other so as to make frames having a rectangular or almost rectangular shape to be formed by the groups 2A and 2B. By the means mentioned above, the weight of the grid can be minimized. |
