PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a drive circuit and reduce the memory capacity, by storing a gradation data of each display dot for one line's share and generation a print drive output until the data is coincident with a gradation conversion data being a reference of the gradation. CONSTITUTION:The gradation data TD of a word in a line memory 21 accessed with a block address BA and a dot address DA is transmitted to a data comparator 22, where the data is compared with a 4-bit gradation conversion data rTD from a hexadecimal counter 33. The comparator 22 transmits an ''H'' (high level) output to a latch circuit 23 possible for addressing until the data rTD is coincident with the data TD. print data in 64-dot are outputted in parallel from the circuit 23 and applied to a stylus block 3 of a thermosensing head 1 via a multiplexer 24. |
