PURPOSE:To improve the sharpness of an image by incorporating a polymer which can form specific cation sites into a mordant layer. CONSTITUTION:The polymer which can form the cation sites expressed by the formula I is incorporated into the mordant layer of the packaging unit formed by housing a photosensitive material 21 having silver halide emulsion layers on a base and the mordant layer on one side into a case having an exposing function. In the formula I, A denotes the monomer unit which has at least two copolymerizable ethylenic unsatd. monomers and is copoymerized with such monomer contg. at least one thereof in the side chain and B denotes the monomer unit copolymerized with the copolymerizable ethylenic unsatd. monomer. R1 denotes a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group or aralkyl group; Q denotes a single bond or arylene group, etc.; G denotes the formula II, etc.; In the formula II, R2-R4 denote a hydrogen atom, aryl group, etc.; X<(-)> denotes anion; in the formula I, x, y, z denote, by molar fractions, 0-60 x, y and 30-100 z. The sharpness of the image is improved in this way. |
