PURPOSE:To permit the arming of a fuse surely and eliminate the necessity of providing an electric power source necessary for the arming separately by a method wherein the outputs of thermoelectric converting elements, arranged around the engine of a missile, are integrated and the fuse, provided in the missile, is armed when an integrated value has exceeded a given value. CONSTITUTION:A missile is constituted so that thermoelectric converting elements 3 generate an electromotive force by the generation of heat due to the combustion of an engine unit 2 when the missile 1 is launched and the electric power is sent to a fuse 4. An arming circuit is constituted so that an electric power, generated in the thermoelectric converting elements 3, increases gradually the potential of a capacitor C in an integrating circuit 6 consisting of a resistor (r) and the capacitor C, through a Zener diode 5 for precluding the noise of external disturbance in the fuse 4. When the potential has exceeded the threshold valve of a threshold circuit 7, the fuse 4 is armed by the output of the threshold circuit. In this case, the time constant of the integrating circuit 6 is selected whereby the arming with an arbitrary time delay may be effected. |
