PURPOSE:To enhance color reproducibility and developability and to reduce rise of stains on unexposed areas by incorporating a 5-pyrazolone coupler having at the coupling position a specified group in the silver halide color photographic sensitive material and specifying an average particle diameter of this emulsified dispersion. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide photosensitive material contains the emulsified dispersion having an average particle diameter regulated to <=0.25mum, and an anionic or nononic surfactant and the like, and the 5-pyrazolone coupler having at the coupling position the releasable group represented by general formula (I) in which each of L1 and L2 is methylene or the like; each of l and m is 0 or 1; R1 is H, alkyl, or the like; R2 is a C or O atom or the like; A is a bonding group, such as a C or S atom; n is 1 or 2 according to A; B is a C or O atom or the like; and X is an atomic group necessary to form a ring. |
