The blanket for preheating by automatic high temperature setting, and for normal heating set by a temperature controller when a person enters in the blanket includes a person detector for detecting the existance of the person in the blanket, a temperature adjusting circuit for altering the temperature by the signals from the detector and the temperature controller, and a controller for controlling the current to the heater according to the difference between the signals of a temperature sensor and the temperature adjusting circuit.
