PURPOSE:To prevent stringing and drawing of a resin when a mold is opened and to make it possible to perform a continuous and a stable molding by placing rotatively a hot chip in such a way that the gate part coincides with its axial center, cutting partly the peripherical face of the end of the hot chip in the direction of the gate part and making it possible that a cavity and a runner are selectively communicated or shut at the gate part by rotating the hot chip. CONSTITUTION:Communicating parts 6a are formed on the end of a hot chip 6 in the direction of a gate part in such a way that the parts of the peripherical face facing each other are formed into small paths and a molten resin 15 is poured into a cavity by its pouring pressure in the arrow mark direction through a path of a runner 1 a runner 1a the communicating part 6a the gate part 7. Therefore, when the hot chip 6 is rotated about 90 deg. by making a gate 7 as an axial center and said communicating parts 6a of the hot chip 6 come to positions facing to splines 17a and 17b, paths for the molten resin 15 from the runner 1a to the gate part 7 is shut. It is therefore possible to control communication and shut-off of an injection opening by rotating the hot chip 6. |
