PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of a high corrosion velocity, to uniformly cool a burner front, and to minimize the generation of a thermal stress due to which deterioration and the damage of a burner occur during operation for a ling time, by providing internal structure to fluidize fluid for cooling by a specified system. CONSTITUTION: A central flow passage 12 of a burner 10 is arranged along a longitudinal axis 14, and fine solid fuel is fed to a combustion band, situated downstream, by carrier gas. An annular channel 18 for oxygen-contained gas is concentrically arranged at the periphery of a central channel 12 and a free end part 20 is provided to cause inflow of oxygen contained gas to a combustion band. An outlet 20 is arranged at an angle of approximate 20-60 deg. with a longitudinal axis 14, and a flow of oxygen contained gas crosses solid fuel flowing out through an outlet 16 is mixed therewith. Further, a burner 10 is provided with a hollow wall member 26 and connected to a feed conduit 30 for operation, an articulated water liquid coolant is fed, and connected to a return conduit 34 for operation, and the liquid coolant is transferred, through a hollow wall passage.
