Frame and manhole ring

The present invention relates to a concrete frame and manhole ring for civil/underground engineering and road construction, in the case of which the manhole covering, in new construction or repair work, does not extend above or fall below the road surface, but terminates, with almost 100% accuracy, level +/-0 with the road surface, the frame and the manhole ring located therebeneath being provided with in each case two offset, helically cast, self-locking run-on surfaces of a width corresponding to half the wall thickness of the frame and manhole ring, and it being possible, once the road surfacing is finished, to set the frame at a higher or lower level by raising and turning it clockwise or anti-clockwise, in order to achieve in each case a new, levelled-off road surface without depressions or elevations.
