In order to supply a prime mover or driving machine (3), for example an AC generator (alternator) with drive energy, a mobile device is proposed which consists of two parallel guiding rollers (2), which are arranged at a distance and between which the driven wheel of a motor vehicle is driven in. At least one of the guiding rollers (2) acts in this case as force-transmitting member for driving the prime mover or driving machine (3). It is possible to use the device at arbitrary locations at which no permanently installed or functional power grid is available to make drive energy available for the prime mover or driving machine (3) by means of a normal motor vehicle. The device is easy to transport, can be used with few manipulations and has a high operating reliability, since there is no longer any need for a separate drive motor which is permanently coupled to the prime mover or driving machine (3). <IMAGE>
