The invention describes novel secondary polyether polyamines, and their use and preparation. In particular, secondary polyoxypropylenediamines and polyoxypropylenetriamines are characterised by means of their properties, synthesis and applications. This class of substances makes it possible to synthesize an entirely polyurethane-free polyurea compound. The polyoxypropylene structure provides the desired flexibility of the polymer, and the hydrophobic properties of the polyoxypropylene structure prevent absorption of water. In addition, the amine end groups, due to their high reactivity, facilitate short reaction times without the use of activators. The choice of substituents on the amine nitrogen allows the reaction rate of this compound to be varied within broad limits. |
