This relates to an application of the flap to a nautical sail, it being possible for the application to relate to any type of sail, with any type of material for the sail, it being essential for said sail to be secured slidably over its entire perimeter to any type of frame. Frame formed from a diversity of materials and secured in the most diverse manner at the ends of the elements which constitute said frame, the sole condition being that it suffices for one of all the elements of the frame, which may be more or less rigid, to be exclusively resistant to traction. <IMAGE>
