PURPOSE:To take a large-sized copy after taking an urgent copy by stopping the operation of a means which divides one page portion of picture data and forms images on plural sheets of recording materials and restarting the operation of the means. CONSTITUTION:A means which divides one page portion of picture data and forms images on plural sheets of recording materials, stopping means which stops the operation of the image forming means, and restarting means which restarts the operation of the image forming means are provided. Therefore, when it becomes necessary to take another urgent copy while a large-sized copy is taken, the urgent copy can be taken by interrupting (stopping) the large- sized copy taking operation. The large-sized copy can be produced after the urgent copy is taken. |
