PURPOSE: To improve operation characteristics by providing a fuel supply device for controlling each cylinder in order to match a torque amount of each cylinder, and regulating the torque amount corresponding to a measure result of a temperature of a glow plug arranged in each combustion chamber. CONSTITUTION: Electric power is supplied to a glow plug 11 arranged in each combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine from a glow power supply 25 through a switching device 20 when it is actuated. In this case, a temperature measuring device 30 connected to each glow plug 11 through the switching device 20 after the finish of warm-up operation is provided, and a measured signal from the temperature measuring device 30 is input to a controlling device 40 for performing individual fuel supply to each cylinder. Then, an energy conversion amount of each cylinder, namely, a torque amount is obtained from the output of the temperature measuring device 30, and the fuel injection pump 45 is controlled to make this torque amount be in conformity with a target amount, thus controlling fuel injection quantity into the combustion chamber and timing of starting injection. |
