In a tyre pressure sensor for motor vehicles with a pressure switch having a reference pressure chamber (28) connected to the inner side of the tyre via an electrically conductive contact diaphragm (24) arranged parallel to the tyre tread which co-operates with a fixed-casing switching contact (23) depending on the relative tyre pressure and which, in order to raise the switching threshold of the pressure switch depending on the speed, is lifted by a mass radially movable under the effect of centrifugal froce depending on the speed of rotation, there are arrangements, in order to achieve a certain speed-dependent shift, specially tailored to the actual application, in the response threshold independently of the pressure-difference-dependent switching behaviour, for the outer surface of the somewhat cylindrical reference pressure chamber (28) to be formed by a bellows (26) linked along its outer edge (25) to the diaphragm (24).
