FERROMAGNETIC PIECE CLEANING APPARATUS AND METHOD BY REMOVAL OF LUBRICANT COOLING AGENT

PURPOSE: To extremely well clean ferromagnetic chip by heating the ferromagnetic chip, acting a rotating magnetic field on the heated ferromagnetic chip when the chip is kept at this temp. and heating the ferromagnetic chip at a specific temp. range then maintaining the chip at the temp. CONSTITUTION: The working space of a casing 2 is heated to a preset temp. and thereafter, an induction coil 4 is energized. As a result, the coil 4 forms the rotating electromagnetic field and thereafter, a metering device 9 drops the required amt. of the ferromagnetic chip together with a lubricant-coolant from a ferromagnetic chip supply device 10 into the working space of the casing 2. The rotating magnetic field rotates the ferromagnetic chip, by which the chip is agitated. While the ferromagnetic chip is given by the rotating magnetic field, the chip is kept heated to the predetermined temp. in a range from 105 to 310 deg.C. The conditions for executing the evaporation and removal of the lubricant are greatly improved by such agitation of the ferromagnetic chip.
