<p>PURPOSE:To provide a safe constant temperature heat generator reduced in the change of temperature as much as possible during a heat-generating period and having lower heat-generating temperatures than a reaction-starting temperature by adding a specific amount of an alkali metal week acid salt (mixture) such as sodium potassium carbonate to iron powder. CONSTITUTION:The objective heat-generator is prepared by adding (B) a reaction-retarding agent comprising an alkali metal week acid salt such as potassium sodium carbonate, sodium carbonate, metasilicic acid or sodium bicarbonate or a mixture thereof to (A) iron powder in an A:B ratio of 1g:0.01-0.1g. The component B is added to the component A by an arbitrary method but can be impregnated into a water-absorbing polymer together with the solution of a reaction accelerator.</p> |
