Cylindrical winding tube for man-made yarns - for forming cross-wound package with yarn catch positioned before clamp piece of yarn catch slit
摘要
A cylindrical winding tube made of paperboard, plastics or coiled layers of paper is for winding a man-made yarn for forming a crosswound package. A yarn catching slit is located on a normal plane and extends across at least over one part of the periphery. The slit consists of an inlet piece and a clamping piece. A yarn catch is positioned before, or at the beginning of the clamp piece in such a way that the yarn catch does not prevent the radial penetration of the yarn into the slit but blocks the radial rising of the yarn out of the clamp piece. Specifically, the yarn catch featuers latches, which extend in an axially parallel position into the inlet piece of the catch slit. The latches are dislocated in relation to each other. The winding spindle with the clamped-on empty tube is driven at a surface speed corresponding to the yarn speed. It has been moved into the yarn course in such a way that the direction of the surface movement of the winding tube corresponds to the yarn running direction. ADVANTAGE - The yarn catch slit operates with a high degree of reliability.
