A plug connector is illustrated and described having a tubular housing into whose free end part an electrical plug contact support is forced as far as a stop which is arranged thereon and consists of a plastic sleeve with a sealing ring arranged on the circumference, a contact support base (which fills the cross-section of the plastic sleeve, is connected to said plastic sleeve by techniques such as bonding, soldering or welding, has a vent duct and separates the plastic sleeve into a sleeve space on the plug contact side and a sleeve space on the conductor connecting side) as well as a plurality of plug contact elements which are arranged therein and have conductor connecting parts which point into the sleeve space on the conductor connecting side and are connected via flexible leads to the associated connections of an electrical circuit, the conductor connecting parts being potted, together with the flexible leads, in the tubular housing by means of insulating compound. In order to be able to manufacture and assemble such a plug connector easily, it is provided according to the invention that the vent duct (18) (in a partially pressed-in position of the plug contact support in the tubular housing) connects the sleeve space (14) on the plug contact side to the sleeve space (15) on the conductor connecting side indirectly via an annular space (21) and at least one excess flow channel (24), that the annular space (21) [lacuna] on the edge between the plastic sleeve (12a) and the housing (11) and the excess flow channel (24) on the sleeve section on the conductor connecting side...
