PURPOSE:To obtain the filter for ventilation device which has high oil soot collecting efficiency, low pressure loss and low noise by forming such open long holes in the specified arrangement in a plane plate that the short diameter of the hole is less than the specified value. CONSTITUTION:A large number of long holes 2 having <=0.3mm short diameter are provided to form through-holes in a plane plate of stainless steel, etc. The arrangement of these long holes 2 is continuously made in such a way that the nonhole part between neighboring holes in the direction of the long diameter D is confronted to the long hole 2 which is in the neighboring position in the direction of the short diameter (d). When this filter 1 is installed in a ventilation fan, the air containing oil soot generated in cooking passes through the through- holes as air flow passages, but the oil soot is sufficiently collected on the plane plate by the collision due to inertia as the short diameter (d) of the long hole 2 is small enough, and, on the other hand, the opening rate is made to be large enough due to the direction of long diameter of the long hole 2. |
