In the case of a device for heating up the washer fluid of a washer system of a motor vehicle, in a container which holds the washer fluid there is arranged a heat exchanger which is connected by an inflow and an outlet to the coolant circuit of a combustion engine. The heat exchanger contains at least one extruded multi-chamber tube, the chambers of which are coupled by means of end pieces to a continuous guide between the inflow and outlet.
