OPTICAL INFORMATION RECORDING MEDIUM

PURPOSE:To obtain the optical card which has the uniform film thickness of an org. recording layer, provide stable recording sensitivity and can be produced with good mass productivity with a simple stage by decoloring the org. recording layer consisting of a dye to form preformat patterns. CONSTITUTION:The org. recording layer 2 formed by application of the soln. of the recording material such as dye is provided on the transparent substrate 1 and a heating stamper having the heating part corresponding to the preformat patterns is brought into contact with said layer to form the decolored track parts 3 decolored in the contact parts. The colored recording parts 4 colored with the recording material such as dye are formed except the decolored track parts 3. The card substrate for protection or for supporting the medium is stuck via an adhesive layer 5 onto the org. recording layer 2 formed with the preformat patterns of the decolored track parts 3 mentioned above. The decolored track parts having the shapes of the preformat patterns and the colored recording parts 4 are constituted to the uniform thickness in this way.
