An auxiliary fire control device is specified which determines the offset of the azimuth angle of a gun resulting from the trunnion inclination. The auxiliary fire control device comprises a supporting device (2) on which an azimuth angle indicating device (6) and a reference device (28) are mounted such that they can rotate. A correction indicator (36) is arranged on the reference device (28) such that it can pivot, and is held in contact with an indicating section (8) of the azimuth angle indicating device (6). In the event of correct orientation, which is indicated by the level indicating elements (20, 34), the magnitude of the rotation of the correction indicator (36) relative to the reference device (28) indicates the offset of the gun azimuth angle as a result of the trunnion inclination, this rotation being determined by measurement units (40, 44). <IMAGE>
