The invention relates to a method and also an apparatus for handling and subsequent treatment of a continuously produced, unstretched honeycomb web. To facilitate the handling as well as the subsequent treatment of the unstretched honeycomb web, according to the invention the following method steps are provided: a) The honeycomb web is reeled up and is stored intermediately as a reel or is sold as separate merchandise; b) for subsequent treatment, the unstretched honeycomb web is wound off the reel and is stretched into the desired final form; c) the desired part lengths are cut off from the continuous, stretched honeycomb web. |
