The present invention refers to improvements introduced to the bridging pieces of the tightening screw housing at the end of hose clips in which between the two longitudinal, parallel bridge-link pieces that clamp the body of the screw housing, there is a transverse fixing bridge between both the longitudinal pieces, the transverse bridge consisting of two aligned openings along the end of the band and separated by a central section of the actual material that forms the bridge, and on one of the side edges of each opening, part of the total cutout of the material is interrupted that when withdrawn forms the said opening and it is retained with part of the cut out material, emerging in a bend of 90 degrees, the remaining material forming central extensions, so that once folded into the horizontal position their free ends do not reach the edge opposite to their source, one of the sources of the folded extensions being arranged at the edge of one side of an opening opposite the edge of the side of the other axial opening. <IMAGE>
